About the role
- Provide strategic account management, new sales acquisition and financial sales leadership for an assigned portfolio of Government and Education customers
- Develop and manage overall account strategies for named and prospective customers, identifying incremental revenue opportunities and retention of embedded base services
- Meet or exceed monthly sales quota through identification and closing of incremental sales and revenue opportunities
- Proactively engage customers to understand changing business needs and identify upselling/cross-selling and new product revenue growth opportunities
- Renew customer contracts to protect and grow existing revenue streams
- Maintain knowledge of Company products/services, pricing practices and selling skills to position Comcast Business Class services
- Initiate and deliver proposed solutions related to Advanced Voice, Metro Ethernet, Active Core, SD-WAN, Managed Router and other Business Class products
- Maintain customer satisfaction and serve as primary escalation point; coordinate with internal teams to ensure effective resolution
- Manage cultivation, execution and delivery of sales and services to local and regional accounts in Enterprise and mid-market segments
- Collaborate with Sales, Finance and Operations leadership to develop account management plans and strategies to optimize sales and retention
- Position and sell services across multiple organizational levels including C-level and Executive level personnel
- Manage existing revenue, sales opportunities, quota, funnels and forecasts consistent with Region, Division and Corporate goals
Requirements
- 7-10 Years Relevant Work Experience
- Bachelor's Degree (preferred) or combination of coursework and extensive related professional experience
- Customer Relationships, Direct Selling, Sales Development, Strategic Objectives, Upselling
- Knowledge of Advanced Voice, Metro Ethernet, Active Core, SD-WAN, Managed Router and other Business Class products
- Ability to position and sell Company Business Class services across multiple organizational levels including C-level and Executive level personnel
- Strong written and oral communications, interpersonal, planning, presentation and organizational skills
- Ability to meet or exceed monthly sales quota and manage funnels, forecasts, and quotas
- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance
- Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary
- Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance
