About the role

  • Provide strategic account management, new sales acquisition and financial sales leadership for an assigned portfolio of Government and Education customers
  • Develop and manage overall account strategies for named and prospective customers, identifying incremental revenue opportunities and retention of embedded base services
  • Meet or exceed monthly sales quota through identification and closing of incremental sales and revenue opportunities
  • Proactively engage customers to understand changing business needs and identify upselling/cross-selling and new product revenue growth opportunities
  • Renew customer contracts to protect and grow existing revenue streams
  • Maintain knowledge of Company products/services, pricing practices and selling skills to position Comcast Business Class services
  • Initiate and deliver proposed solutions related to Advanced Voice, Metro Ethernet, Active Core, SD-WAN, Managed Router and other Business Class products
  • Maintain customer satisfaction and serve as primary escalation point; coordinate with internal teams to ensure effective resolution
  • Manage cultivation, execution and delivery of sales and services to local and regional accounts in Enterprise and mid-market segments
  • Collaborate with Sales, Finance and Operations leadership to develop account management plans and strategies to optimize sales and retention
  • Position and sell services across multiple organizational levels including C-level and Executive level personnel
  • Manage existing revenue, sales opportunities, quota, funnels and forecasts consistent with Region, Division and Corporate goals

Requirements

  • 7-10 Years Relevant Work Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree (preferred) or combination of coursework and extensive related professional experience
  • Customer Relationships, Direct Selling, Sales Development, Strategic Objectives, Upselling
  • Knowledge of Advanced Voice, Metro Ethernet, Active Core, SD-WAN, Managed Router and other Business Class products
  • Ability to position and sell Company Business Class services across multiple organizational levels including C-level and Executive level personnel
  • Strong written and oral communications, interpersonal, planning, presentation and organizational skills
  • Ability to meet or exceed monthly sales quota and manage funnels, forecasts, and quotas
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance
  • Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance
