About the role
- Own delivery for one or more teams within a platform area; facilitate agile ceremonies, manage dependencies, coach teams on SDLC best practices
- Responsible for technical program management activities and alignment for strategic programs; coordinate cross-functional internal and external resources to ensure programs are within scope, budget and schedule
- Serve as program lead for specific, defined multi-discipline technical programs or projects of greater than average complexity and scope; plan, develop and deliver new technical programs
- Understand program scope, participate in planning milestones, drive alignment, maintain program plans and records; identify and manage critical path tasks
- Drive development and implementation of key goals, objectives and success criteria; ensure clear communication and alignment with stakeholders and delivery teams
- Recommend changes to improve the engineering process; identify and analyze risks and issues; track and manage program schedule and task details
- Serve as liaison with Divisional and Regional market resources to prepare markets, system and resources for deployment; monitor quality of program deliverables
- Lead platform delivery across multiple teams, manage cross-team dependencies and delivery timelines; coach teams on agile maturity and SDLC optimization; lead quarterly planning sessions; identify systemic delivery issues and mentor junior EDMs
- Communicate delivery status and trade-offs to leadership; align cross-functional teams on shared goals and timelines; deliver on commitments
Requirements
- 2-5 Years Relevant Work Experience
- Bachelor's Degree (preferred) or combination of coursework and experience
- Working knowledge of Agile frameworks and SDLC practices
- Understanding of backlog management and estimation techniques
- Familiarity with cross-functional team dynamics
- Facilitation of agile ceremonies (e.g., standups, retrospectives)
- Basic risk identification and mitigation
- Effective use of Jira, Confluence, and planning tools
- Ability to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
