About the role

  • Develops the strategy of the sales territory, identifying strategic partnerships and planning territory development
  • Actively researches and generates new leads through cold calling, canvassing, customer referrals and partner relationships
  • Promotes and positions the Comcast brand within the territory
  • Builds relationships and drives alignment and regular communication between key GTM partners
  • Creates and delivers face-to-face sales presentations to strategic prospective clients
  • Acquires and manages large multi-location commercial customers through direct and partner channels
  • Sells Comcast Business strategic products and solutions with goals of exceeding financial and unit targets
  • Stays abreast of competitive landscape and emerging technologies to position Comcast Business Services
  • Retains customer base by delivering superior customer experience and drives customer retention
  • Works with internal teams to ensure operational efficiencies and service levels meet or exceed customer expectations
  • Maintains accurate and quality sales records and prepares sales and activity reports as required
  • Attends out-of-office meetings with customers regularly and demonstrates excellent verbal and written skills
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned; expected to follow Comcast Operating Principles

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred (Comcast may consider combination of coursework and experience or extensive related professional experience)
  • 5-7 Years relevant work experience
  • In-depth experience, knowledge, and skills in selling complex solutions
  • Communication, Customer Relationships, Direct Selling skills
  • Demonstrates some knowledge of Network Design, SDWAN, and Network Security
  • Familiar with MAN technologies & designs including WDM, Ethernet, Internet Technologies, Functionality & Services
  • Knowledge of Voice Network Technologies (including VoIP) and Data Networking Technologies (LAN, MAN, WAN, VPN)
  • Understanding of Networking Protocols (emphasis on Layers 1, 2, & 3)
  • Familiarity with Customer Premise Equipment (voice & data)
  • Knowledge of Cybersecurity and Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery concepts
  • Ability to design and deliver live sales presentations and present, persuade, negotiate
  • Ability to develop territory strategy, build partnerships, and generate new leads (cold calling, canvassing, referrals, partner relationships)
  • Strong customer service orientation with excellent follow up skills
  • Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance; must be able to work nights and weekends and variable schedules
  • Ability to attend out-of-office meetings with customers on a regular basis
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance
