Chief Operating Officer

• Manage the administration of the offices of the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and Vice President of Legislative and Governmental Affairs (VP-LEG).
• Complete a broad variety of administrative tasks for the COO & VP-LEG, including managing calendars, completing expense reports, composing correspondence, and arranging detailed travel plans.
• Work closely with the COO & VP-LEG to keep informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities.
• Manage communications on behalf of the COO & VP-LEG with external professional groups and regulators.
• Coordinate and monitor meeting appointments and logistics, including obtaining necessary reservations and AV equipment needs.
• Work with the NASBA legal team to assist COO in the contract review process.
• Support the COO & VP-LEG in document management.

Executive Assistant – Chief Operating Officer, Vice President of Legislative and Governmental Affairs

Evaluator

• The International Education and Credential Evaluator (Evaluator) position supports the functions of the NIES Department.
• Follow specific policies and procedures in performing all duties related to business operations.
• Perform education and credential evaluations and associated functions for applicants with international education who are interested in taking the Uniform Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Exam and/or applying for a CPA license.

Communications

• Develops and manages written and digital communications that support NASBA's programs, services and initiatives.
• Creates content for websites, email, social media, publications and other communication channels, while helping ensure messaging is clear, accurate and consistent across the organization.
• Serves as the department's lead for social media and public-facing content while providing writing, editing and communications support for departments across the organization.
• Manage NASBA's social media channels (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and X) and forums, including content planning, writing, video/imagery creation, publishing, and monitoring.
• Monitor social media performance and metrics, and recommend improvements based on audience engagement and results.
• Support executive thought leadership by developing leadership communications.
• Write, edit and proofread content for websites, blogs, newsletters, press releases, speeches, talking points, email campaigns and publications.
• Review communication materials developed by departments to ensure accuracy, clarity and consistency.
• Develop content for conference mobile applications and develop attendee communications as needed.
• Serve as speaker liaison for NASBA conferences, including collecting bios, headshots, speaker preferences, etc., and serving as on-site contact.
• Serve as a content development and digital media resource for Boards of Accountancy and internal clients.
• Assist with media materials, announcements and public communications.
• Assist with communication planning for meetings, conferences and special projects.

Communications and Digital Media Specialist

Data Analyst

• The Senior Data Analyst is responsible for transforming NASBA data into clear, actionable insights that improve decision-making, operational performance, and measurable business outcomes.
• This role partners closely with business unit leaders, Information Technology, and external partners to understand business questions, define analytical requirements, and deliver accurate, timely, and useful reporting and analytics products.
• Develops and maintains dashboards, reports, data models, and analytical solutions aligned with NASBA's enterprise data and AI strategy.
• Accountable for the quality, adoption, and business value of assigned analytics and reporting, while supporting strong data governance, security, and responsible use of data.
• Supports the effective use of NASBA’s enterprise data platform, including Snowflake and Power BI, by promoting data consistency, quality, performance, and alignment with enterprise standards.
• Collaborates with CGI and other vendors as needed under the strategic guidance of the Chief Information Officer.
