About the role
- Manage the logistics of the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, and employee changes.
- Occasionally support the recruiting team with scheduling and delivering offers.
- Administer HR systems and maintain accurate employee data.
- Support benefits enrollment, leave administration, and compliance documentation.
- Assist with performance review cycles, engagement initiatives, and other company-wide programs.
- Serve as a reliable partner for employees, ensuring questions and requests are handled with care and follow-through.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and recommend solutions that create clarity and efficiency.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in HR, People Operations, or related work
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Clear and professional communication, both written and verbal
- Located in New York City, in office 3 days a week
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, growing environment where priorities can shift
