About the role
- Develop and execute sales and account strategies to secure revenue targets with emphasis on existing customer engagement and growth
- Build trusted advisory relationships with key customer stakeholders from end-users to executive decision makers
- Collaborate with product marketing and subject matter experts to drive lead generation across digital channels and live events
- Coordinate technical support activities and implementation projects to ensure customer success
- Lead contract negotiations, prepare quotations and revenue projections
- Monitor and analyze customers’ usage of product and recommend improvements to product management
- Provide feedback to product management, product development, and services operations to address client needs
- Frequent travel, mostly to Central Europe
- Collaborate with global sales, support, product development and marketing teams and with partners to deliver integrated digital solutions
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working in a commercial environment in the maritime industry
- Experience in CAD/CAE software business or in ship design
- Degree in Naval Architecture, Ocean Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or similar technical field
- Strong business acumen and commercial mindset
- Motivation and genuine interest in developing as a sales professional
- Proactive attitude and eagerness to learn and grow in a dynamic, international environment
- Demonstrated ability to build trust and long-term relationships with customers
- Excellent communication and presentation skills across all organizational levels
- Established contact network in the European shipbuilding market and ability to expand existing contact base
- Self-driven and results-oriented mindset
- Ability to work independently in a self-managed organization while collaborating across teams
