Customer Acquisition: Proactively identify, target, and secure new business opportunities with major seed companies and vegetable breeders.
Technical Sales & Product Champion: Become an expert on the AI-powered sorting platforms. Articulate complex technical and value propositions clearly to both commercial and technical stakeholders (R&D, Production, and Quality Control).
Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting, and trusting relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in the target market.
Market Intelligence: Conduct deep market analysis to understand customer needs, competitive landscapes, emerging trends in vegetable seed and AgTech in your area.
Reporting & CRM: Utilize CRM software (e.g. HubSpot) rigorously to manage the entire sales pipeline, forecast accurately, and report on all sales activities and territory performance to senior management.
Collaboration: Work closely with the R&D and Marketing teams to provide on-the-ground customer feedback for continuous product and service improvement.
Requirements
Ambitious Sales Track Record: Proven experience (5+ years) in a commercial or sales role with a track record of consistently exceeding sales quotas, ideally with a focus on high-value B2B technical solutions.
Industry Expertise (Major Plus): Direct sales experience within the vegetable seed industry (e.g., selling seeds, crop protection, or related services) or Agri-Technology (AgTech) is a significant advantage.
Tech Savvy: Strong understanding of new technologies, a passion for AI/data, and the ability to sell a technical, data-driven product rather than a commodity.
