Develop and execute sales strategies to identify, pursue, and close high-value new-customer deals.
Build strong, lasting relationships with key stakeholders, including C-level executives.
Lead direct sales efforts and channel-driven initiatives to expand reach and accelerate revenue.
Conduct discovery conversations to uncover customer pain points and translate them into tailored solution strategies.
Prepare business cases, solution briefs, presentations, demos, proposals, license agreements, and statements of work.
Collaborate with Channel Sales Executives, Marketing, Product, and Customer teams for pipeline and onboarding alignment.
Own the full sales cycle from lead generation through contract negotiation and closing.
Apply a structured sales process, deliver tailored demonstrations, and present ROI-focused value propositions.
Maintain ongoing relationships with customer advocates and manage post-sale activities with Customer and Accounting teams.
Contribute field insights to go-to-market strategy and support marketing campaigns and events.
Become knowledgeable on the NorthStar CCM platform to deliver user experience demonstrations.
Requirements
Minimum of 7+ years of demonstrated success in Customer Communications Management (CCM) platform sales.
At least 5+ years of full-cycle sales experience, including selling software or cloud-based applications.
Proven experience in the Software as a Service (SaaS) industry, with strong knowledge of SaaS business models, customer lifecycle management, and best practices for driving engagement and retention.
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
Demonstrated drive and consistent achievement or surpassing of sales targets.
Entrepreneurial mindset with a natural hunter mentality and strong ownership of business decisions.
Persuasive communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills; ability to build trust and influence stakeholders at all levels.
Proficiency in Salesforce, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Gong.
Experience preparing business cases, solution briefs, presentations, proposals, license agreements, and statements of work.
