• Provide administrative guidance, technical assistance, and operational support to staff coordinating departmental CBACs

Community Budget Advisory Committees Program Coordinator

Appraiser

• Gather and analyze sales data for commercial, multifamily, and other land types to support market value appraisals
• Research zoning regulations, land use restrictions, utility availability, topography, and ingress/egress
• Interview owners, agents, and tenants to compile rental/lease information and appraisal facts
• Research real property exemptions and audit assessment data and value change reports
• Learn and apply Market, Cost, and Income approaches to estimate commercial and multifamily property values
• Ensure valuations meet Oregon Revised Statutes and Oregon Administrative Code requirements

Property Appraiser 1 – Commercial and Office

On Call

• Book, interview, classify and process adults in custody into jail; conduct searches of adults in custody; release from custody and return property.
• Count, control and monitor adult in custody movement and activity in housing units, modules, cells and open dormitory settings; monitor suicidal adults in custody to determine if they require suicidal watch and provide counseling and coordination of medical services; conduct security and welfare checks and connect adults in custody with mental health services; search jail areas for contraband; secure and maintain evidence.
• Escort adults in custody to areas and events within the institution, court appearances, personal interviews, medical care and other institutions; assemble and monitor adults in custody for transports to and from other counties, state facilities, extraditions and others; supervise and monitor meal times and recreational activities; supervise adult in custody work crews; prepare daily work release logs and investigate and report violations.
• Control violent and/or mentally ill adults in custody; prepare daily count and adult in custody assignment sheets; document, record and write reports on adult in custody behavior and other applicable information.
• Respond to backup calls for medical, adult in custody assaults and other emergency situations; testify in court related to crimes committed in custody.
• Maintain security within the institution and oversee the health and safety of staff, adults in custody and the public; control access and maintain inventory of keys; operate control rooms and panels; monitor and access security doors, gates, cameras, alarms and video terminals; perform general facility maintenance.
• Assist adults in custody with information regarding personal records, accounts, grievances, social visits and court proceedings; provide information and assistance regarding criminal cases to staff and the public; communicate and work with courts, records, medical staff, programs staff, other departments and agencies.

On-Call Corrections Deputy

General

• Provide direct dental hygiene clinical treatment and education

Dental Hygienist – On Call

Consultant

• Provide direct services of assessment, crisis intervention, counseling, and case management for the mentally ill client population in jail.
• Provide indirect services including case consultation, group facilitation, education, research, and selected assigned administrative and patient care duties.
• Receive clients on a referred, emergent, or follow-up basis and formulate definitive assessment and treatment plan.
• Provide direct patient care, crisis intervention, counseling, and client education on accessing community resources.
• Use electronic medical records accurately to document client's care through SOAP charting.
• Manage a large caseload and interface with provider and support staff.
• Participate actively in the Mental Health Team and collaborate with Correction Deputies and Juvenile Custody Support Specialists.

Senior Budget Analyst

Program Manager

• Assign work; establish work schedules and develop work procedures consistent with the county and department policy
• Develop plans and procedures for achieving objectives and operational goals to ensure program goals and objectives are met and consistency is achieved; modify as necessary to meet changing conditions
• Develop plans and procedures to assure that new and ongoing staff stay up-to-date on Developmental Disabilities programs.
• Provide information, technical assistance and professional consultation for staff to assist and advise them with complex and difficult issues.
• Convene regular section meetings to ensure the distribution and discussion of new state or county policy and budget and program updates; to provide a forum for staff feedback; training; and opportunities for team building
• Convene regular meetings with Service Coordinators and lead workers to ensure that coordination of team and distribution of tasks to the work team is handled appropriately
• Review and respond to customer and general public comments in a timely manner
• Monitor staff performance to ensure program criteria, performance standards, and time-lines are met using various tools including conferring with staff, reports, data, client feedback, case reviews, and other information from the public and other sources.
• Evaluate program systems, processes and procedures on an ongoing basis to explore opportunities to create efficiencies and improve quality.

• Participate in IDDSD Manager meetings to bring forth case management issues, system analysis and planning. Take initiative toward participation in those meetings that will impact the future sustainability and progress of IDDSD.
