About the role
- Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with company objectives.
- Gather, analyze, and prioritize customer requirements and feedback to drive product development.
- Create, maintain, and prioritize the product backlog to ensure a clear set of tasks for the development team.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including customers, business leaders, and development teams, to clarify requirements and manage expectations.
- Actively participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Evaluate product progress using data analysis and user feedback to inform iterations and improvements.
- Make decisions about trade-offs between scope, quality, and delivery timelines to maximize product value.
- Promote a user-centered approach, ensuring the product delivers exceptional customer experiences.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role within an Agile or Scrum environment.
- Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data for decision-making.
- Ability to translate complex concepts into clear, actionable user stories.
- Technical knowledge to collaborate effectively with development teams.
- Proficiency in English (reading, writing, and/or speaking).
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is desirable.
- Experience with product management tools such as Aha!, Jira, Confluence, Trello, or similar.
- Domain or industry knowledge relevant to the product.
- Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification is a plus.
