💰 $100,000 - $110,000 per year
About the role
- Support new customer relationships both within partner and end-user communities
- Help achieve sales, profitability, and customer recruitment objectives and represent the entire range of company products and services
- Co-develop materials and conduct training for company products for the channel
- Proactively drive and manage the technology phase of the sales process, and reporting
- Support 3rd party technology integration partners with training and product understanding on combined solutions
- Co-develop presentation material with the sales team and perform technical presentations to the channel and end-users
- Drive proof of concept and registered projects with the sales team including providing end of evaluation reports
- Liaise between helpdesk, sales and the channel on technical questions during the sales process
- Provide technical support and set up at trade shows; travel to trade shows, conferences, and client locations
- Reports to Director of Channel Support while operating as an independent, self-managing leader
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in one of the following: Sales, Engineering, or Solutions Architecture
- Bachelors Degree preferred
- Experience providing business-to-business technology/physical security/HVAC technical support
- Proficient knowledge of security and/or building automation products
- Familiarity with cloud-based enterprise systems, IoT and Machine Learning a plus
- Experience with supporting enterprise solutions
- Effective understanding and experience with the corporate culture, environment, and decision processes
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to express technical concepts in simplified ways
- Independent, self-disciplined and a problem solver
- Helpful attitude and team centric, accountable, and takes initiative
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time within the designated region
