Work closely with developers, business analysts, and product owners to understand requirements and provide feedback during the development process.
Collaborate with product owners to define test objectives, strategies, and test plans for Salesforce projects; create & execute detailed test cases and test scripts (inclusive of applicable regressions) based on business requirements.
Maintain comprehensive test documentation and own test planning, documentation, and execution activities.
Identify, document, and report defects and issues with steps to reproduce and severity assessment.
Manage and maintain test data, ensuring data integrity and relevance for testing purposes.
Contribute to the overall quality assurance process, including test process improvements, test automation initiatives, and adoption of best practices.
Be available for standups and misc business calls during scheduled timing (typically early PST hours).
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
Strong understanding of Salesforce CRM platform and configurations (Sales & Service Cloud) with solid SFDC admin skills.
2-4 years of experience (preferred) in manual software testing (preferably with a focus on Salesforce CRM).
Passion for QA & Strong understanding of the Quality Assurance concepts & processes.
Attention to detail and solid documentation & communications skills (clear, concise & comprehensive test planning, case creation, defect reporting and collaboration with cross-functional teams).
Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC), agile methodologies & relevant tools (eg Jira, TestRail etc.).
A team player who can step in, take ownership & adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.
Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Platform App Builder) are a plus.
Understanding of automated test tools like provar/Selenium is a bonus.
