About the role
- Provide ongoing consulting and expert administrative support for multiple Veeva Align clients (post-go-live Managed Services).
- Lead quarterly territory alignment and targeting execution, including impact analysis, configuration, communication, and change management.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date roster data and assignments for consumption by CRM and other downstream systems.
- Maintain large datasets related to territory alignment and roster management, ensuring data quality and managing upstream/downstream integrations.
- Consult on best practices and tailor solutions to each customer's unique Veeva Align requirements.
- Configure new Veeva Align functionalities and incorporate them into customers' business processes.
- Create reports and dashboards.
- Triage, troubleshoot, and resolve client-reported issues.
- Manage client interactions, set expectations, and provide clear, effective communication.
- Develop subject matter expertise on the Life Sciences industry and Veeva solutions (particularly Veeva Align).
- Grow team capabilities, develop best practices, and contribute to internal initiatives and knowledge sharing.
- Uphold the Veeva Vision and Values, including “Do the Right Thing” and “Customer Success”.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience required.
- Ability to work remotely and independently in support of multiple clients.
- Hands-on experience with data management and/or process analysis.
- Very skilled with MS Excel for smaller data sets and MS Access or SQL for larger datasets.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to rapidly changing environments.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; client-facing role.
- Fluent in English.
- Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States; Veeva does not anticipate providing sponsorship (e.g., H-1B or TN).
- Nice to have: 2+ years of experience with Sales Territory Alignment Software or territory alignments within a CRM (preferably Salesforce.com).
- Nice to have: Knowledge and applicable work experience in the Pharmaceutical / Life Sciences industry.
- Nice to have: Business knowledge for sales and marketing territory alignments and sales cycle planning.
- Nice to have: Understanding of Master Data Management systems.
- Nice to have: Exposure to Web Services, ETL, SQL, Force.com.
- Nice to have: Consulting experience.
- Nice to have: Experience with other Veeva applications (e.g., Veeva CRM, Vault CRM, Veeva Network MDM).
