About the role
- The Product Analyst is key in supporting the Product Development team by conducting market intelligence research, monitoring vendor performance, and analyzing benefit utilization to enhance Medicare, Medicaid, and Commercial product offerings.
- This role involves gathering and interpreting data to provide insights that drive product development and strategic decision-making.
- The analyst will create detailed benefit analyses, assess competitive market trends, and collaborate with internal teams to optimize plan design and performance.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to translate data into actionable recommendations are essential for success in this role.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equal experience in business analytics
- 3 or more years of previous business analytics or product experience in the healthcare industry, with Medicare experience preferred
- Advanced Excel/data analysis/critical thinking skills
- Ability to manipulate/analyze very large data sets and ability to translate analysis into insights with little guidance
- Ability to take initiative, little direction needed
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and recommend solutions, including clearly communicating problems and solutions to all levels of an organization
- Strong interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent attention to detail to support proofreading and reviews for data accuracy
- Proficiency with Office software applications (e.g., PowerPoint, Excel)
