Supply Chain

• Champion business transformation initiatives and ongoing process improvement in inventory and warehouse operations
• Provide change management leadership to ensure targeted performance levels are achieved and sustained
• Provide subject matter expertise in Value Stream Analysis, Lean Thinking and Six Sigma to lead inventory process improvements
• Develop project strategies, goals, and plans to improve inventory reduction practices
• Be directly responsible for program strategy (e.g. DD vs. MRP), setting inventory targets, excess inventory reviews, and coordinating related training (e.g. DDMRP, Planning, Plan-For-Every-Part)
• Track and monitor effectiveness of key business metrics and recommend/implement changes to meet inventory reduction objectives
• Implement regular management routines to drive execution, focus and results on inventory initiatives
• Provide oversight for the execution and improvement of Materials processes in collaboration with process owners and cross-functional teams at Torrance
• Maintain subject matter expertise to provide the Materials "How To" and expand collaboration across other Moog sites as needed
• Partner with Supply Chain and Operations to optimize part settings to drive right levels of inventory and support customer delivery commitments
• Investigate and resolve inconsistencies with inventory and make recommendations to leadership to improve inventory turns
• Facilitate monthly Site Capability Reviews focused on matching demand with internal and external supply on a 0-3 year horizon
• Assure accuracy and integrity of data in the computer-based materials system by maintaining appropriate control procedures
• Promote Continuous Improvement through employee involvement

Site Materials Manager

Mechanical Engineer

• Senior FPGA / Digital Design Engineer to develop high speed digital circuit designs and FPGAs for flight control and weapons bay actuators for next generation aircraft
• Moog is a leader in doing military aerospace work and provides FCAS systems for aircraft like the F-35 Lightning II and the V280 Valor
• You will contribute to the development of new electronic product requirements through consulting with our customers and system engineers
• Perform trade studies and analyses to validate conceptual designs
• Perform high speed digital circuit design including schematic capture and specifying printed circuit board design requirements (placement constraints, trace parameters, and routing layer constraints).
• Develop firmware for FPGAs that work with electronics, sensors, electro-hydraulic actuators, electromechanical components, and communication links for actuation systems or avionics equipment
• Conduct prototype testing, integration testing, and design verification and validation testing
• Document design, analysis, and verification results with accurate and concise reports
• Provide formal technical presentations to internal and external customers to support program review and business development
• Specify and support design of lab test setups
