About the role
- Keep organized and meet all reporting deadlines
- Maintain meticulous records and respond to resident concerns
- Oversee the application process and ensure lease accuracy
- Communicate with vendors and contractors and manage bills and insurance
- Assist with rent increase approvals and manage office correspondence
- Participate in Board meetings as required and support procurement activities
- Process property invoices and manage rental payments
- Assist the Account Manager and prepare team to step in for Community Manager
- Regularly inspect the property, oversee repairs, and coordinate contractor turnovers
- Monitor maintenance activities and inspections and develop long-term facility plans
- Provide feedback in emergencies, complete incident reports, and ensure workers' compensation reporting
Requirements
- Strong customer service background
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA) designation from CAI preferred
- High School Diploma required
- Possess a driver's license as needed
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
- Ability to move throughout the property and manage stairs
- Able to lift up to 25 pounds for office tasks
- Ability to interpret and communicate detailed instructions
- Ability to be on-call for emergency response and complete incident reports
- Full coverage of manager education, including CAI
