About the role

  • Plan, execute, and finalise manufactured-based projects according to strict deadlines and within specification and budget
  • Coordinate efforts of workshop and site-based team members and third-party contractors or consultants to deliver and integrate in-house manufactured package process plant to customer sites
  • Lead and set an example across the business, promoting company values
  • Manage and deliver multiple production projects, with portfolio value/complexity linked to experience
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget and incident free in line with Bridges standards
  • Ensure appropriate project governance processes are followed to minimise delivery risks and maximise contract profitability
  • Develop an enthusiastic, motivated, and flexible team and ensure Health, Safety and Environmental requirements are adhered to
  • Enable team development, drive and initiative to meet and exceed project and client expectations
  • Provide flexible support to changing project needs and demands
  • Provide regular feedback to the Head of Manufacturing on project performance
  • Participate in project reviews and implement learning and best practice
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues
  • Work on projects ranging from £5k to £15m, acting as Principal Contractor and Principal Designer on various schemes and supporting Tier 1 contractor clients

Requirements

  • CDM Awareness (ideally SSSTS or SMSTS)
  • Driving licence
  • IOSH Managing Safely
  • Commercial and contractual awareness
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft packages
  • Desire to understand and promote the Company purpose, vision, values and culture
  • Trustworthy and ethical approach, exercising discretion where required
  • Organised, structured and professional, with a passion for excellence
  • Commitment to the provision of excellent customer service
  • Experience in a fast paced, national and multi-site business
  • Self-starter who has the ability to prioritise a varied workload and demonstrate good time management to comply with deadlines
  • Planning and organisation skills to be able run and monitor the production process
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, MS Project, Asana, Trello) (Desirable)
  • Experienced in managing a team (Desirable)
  • Flexibility, resilient and has the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels (Desirable)
  • Experience with empowering and developing teams (Desirable)
