About the role
- Oversee operations in HOA communities and manage capital initiatives
- Act as primary liaison between board of directors, homeowners, and committees
- Manage community operations including maintenance of common areas and coordination with contractors
- Handle emergency response and insurance claims providing turnkey solutions
- Attend and facilitate Board and Annual Meetings; prepare monthly board packets and organize meetings
- Address resident inquiries and concerns via phone, email, and formal correspondence
- Ensure compliance with government regulations, health and safety codes, permitting, and association law
- Supervise staff, manage payroll when applicable, and oversee the work environment
- Process invoices, reconcile accounts, present monthly financial reports, and develop/present annual budgets
- Perform onsite inspections to document violations, enforce deed restrictions, and ensure compliance
Requirements
- In-depth knowledge of multi-family residential communities and homeowner associations
- Experience with construction, repairs, and maintenance of building structures, including roofs and foundations
- Proven project management skills, including contract review, implementation, coordination with homeowners, and scheduling
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- A background in property management, specifically within multi-family residential settings
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Base compensation + 25% of the total management fees for the portfolio you manage for every association above 10 communities
