Product Marketing

• Develop, test and evangelize Mixpanel’s messaging and positioning, ensuring it's clear, differentiated, and aligned across every touchpoint.
• Develop and execute go-to-market strategies and launches, including end-to-end planning, execution, and creation of marketing content to generate awareness and educate internally and externally.
• Own the keynote and sessions at our annual US, EMEA, and APAC MXP events.
• Run the win/ loss program for Enterprise accounts - share company-wide each quarter
• Go deep on competitive intelligence to inform product strategy, shape the roadmap, and enable GTM teams with clear differentiation and positioning to drive internal alignment, customer success, and deal conversion.
• Partner with our Enablement teams to equip Marketing, Sales, and CS with compelling assets, pitch decks, competitive battlecards, product demos, and value-based narratives that drive effective customer conversations to close.
• Work collaboratively with the pricing counsel and CEO to evolve and optimize pricing and packaging. Make recommendations on pricing models that will optimize revenue and profitability. Conduct thorough competitive pricing analysis.
• Collaborate with global Marketing teams on integrated campaigns that drive new business and expansion pipeline. Support the teams with research, insights, campaign assets, and speaking engagements.
• Nurture trusted relationships with key Industry Analysts to continuously demonstrate Mixpanel’s thought leadership, competitive advantage, customer success, innovation, and product execution.
• Collaborate with Marketing Ops to train and optimize our AI SDRs
• Experiment with AI tools and platforms to drive innovation and efficiency within the Product Marketing team.

Head of Product Marketing

Accountant

• Own the monthly revenue close, including flux analysis, deferred revenue review, renewals reconciliation, and reconciliation between internal systems.
• Research and document accounting positions for complex, non-routine transactions, including contract modifications, variable consideration, new product offerings, and warrant-related entries.
• Prepare and review stock-based compensation accounting on a quarterly basis, including journal entries, disclosures, and variance analysis.
• Prepare group financial statements, including consolidation and entity-level reporting required for lender compliance.
• Draft, maintain, and evolve the ASC 606 revenue recognition policy memo and related revenue playbook, keeping both current with business and product changes.
• Advise cross-functional partners—Finance, Legal, Sales Operations, and Product—on accounting implications of business decisions, contract structures, and new go-to-market offerings.
• Serve as the primary preparer and day-to-day liaison with external auditors for revenue and equity-related items, including PBC management and audit readiness.
• Translate complex technical accounting concepts into clear, practical guidance for non-accounting stakeholders and leadership.
• Use AI tools to accelerate technical research, memo drafting, and close process improvements—consistent with Mixpanel's commitment to being an AI-native organization.
• Support SOX-readiness by maintaining strong controls and documentation across all owned workstreams.

• Own the end-to-end financial planning process for a major domain (GTM, R&D, or G&A) — from brief to delivery — setting quality standards and accountability mechanisms that others follow.
• Define the 6–12 month financial strategy for your domain, validating assumptions with business partners and translating strategy into financial outcomes and leading indicators.
• Build business cases for major investments with clear assumptions, risk quantification, and second-order effects — giving leadership the analytical foundation to make high-confidence decisions.

• Serve as a trusted technical advisor for prospects/customers to provide strategic consultation on data architecture, governance, instrumentation, and business outcomes
• Effectively communicate at all levels of the customer’s organization to influence business outcomes via Mixpanel, design and execute a comprehensive analytics strategy, and unblock technical and organizational roadblocks
