About the role
- Outside Sales Representative for the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and New Jersey territory to join our sales team
- Sell MI products through our dealer/distributor channel, promoting sales and margin growth and business opportunities while providing professional product expertise, business counsel and marketing advice to our dealers, architects and home builders
- Responsibilities include providing first-class service to existing accounts, training account associates, monitoring external competition, and maintaining product knowledge and stock integrity
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge of the product line and promote strong rapport with account personnel
- Coordinate with sales management to maintain and grow market share; resolve customer complaints; negotiate returns; and offer policy improvements
Requirements
- BA/BS in Management, Marketing or related field; or a successful combination of education and experience to perform the essential functions of the position
- Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with customers in territory
- Ability to successfully manage customer expectations by providing superior service to each customer
- Able to interface and communicate effectively with individuals with diverse backgrounds at varying levels of an organization
- Strong verbal & written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
