About the role
- Reporting to the Senior Director, Infrastructure & IT Operations; shape the company's technology landscape
- Lead design, implementation, and maintenance of network and infrastructure systems
- Ensure high availability, performance, scalability, and security of all IT infrastructure components
- Manage and mentor a team of network engineers, system administrators, and infrastructure specialists
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments and stakeholders
- Measure, monitor, and meet operational KPIs and SLA targets
- Develop and enforce IT policies, procedures, and standards
- Liaise with Security Team on cyber security best practices; manage risk and business continuity
- Develop, implement, and regularly test disaster recovery and business continuity plans
- Negotiate contracts, manage vendor relationships, and manage budgets for infrastructure projects
- Continuously analyze and optimize technology costs while improving service quality and reliability
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a relevant field
- Proven hands-on experience (10+ years) in technology leadership roles
- Strong understanding of data center infrastructure, networking, and cloud technologies
- Advanced knowledge and operational experience with Citrix VDI and Netscaler infrastructure
- Advanced knowledge and operational experience with Microsoft Server platforms
- Advanced knowledge and operational experience with VMWare Virtualcenter and ESXi infrastructure
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Azure and public cloud architectures (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS)
- Microsoft SQL Server administration considered an asset
- Commvault backup infrastructure considered an asset
- Advanced knowledge of Cisco routing and switching, ISE, wireless controllers, and Meraki SD-WAN infrastructure
- Knowledge of security concepts and practical remediation expertise
- Ability to develop architectural solutions and technology roadmaps for a multi-site organization
- Ability to resolve significant integration and technical issues
- Ability to lead and motivate technology teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal and collaborative skills
- Excellent stakeholder management and analytical skills; ability to manage multiple projects under strict timelines
