Advisor

• Answers a high volume of calls, helps members with transactions, questions, and product knowledge.
• The representative has a strong desire to help FMFCU members achieve financial success and commits to offering products and services through assessing needs.
• Accurately completes routine financial transactions including transfers, loan payments, stop payments, verify funds, address changes, check orders, and maintenance on all types of accounts in accordance with established policy/procedures.
• Responds to general member inquiries.
• Possesses a basic understanding of all functionality of FMFCU remote delivery systems, in an effort to service more routine member interactions.
• Educates members on the use of self-service technology.
• Maintains high service standards established for the department.
• This includes high answer rates, low wait times, low abandonment ratios, and strong member satisfaction scores thoroughly verifying member identification.
• Evaluates needs of potential members and offers appropriate financial products and services.
• Looks for referral opportunities to internal and external partners, such as eBranch, Wealth Management, Mortgage, insurance, credit card, etc.
• Operates various programs/software to accurately and efficiently assist members.
• Analyzes, researches, and resolves problems and discrepancies related to member accounts in an effort to provide first contact resolution.
• Refers problems that are beyond their authority to their supervisor.
• Identifies fraud and prevents future fraud.
• Ensures all credit union members and employee-related business is kept in the strictest of confidence which includes maintaining a secure work space at all times.
• Participates in and supports community events.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Is responsible for adhering to operational controls, including compliance with all required regulations and policies such as the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) to ensure the safety and soundness of Franklin Mint Federal Credit Union and its members.

Member Service Advisor I

Compliance

• Executes and oversees day-to-day components of the Credit Union’s Compliance Program.
• Performs core compliance activities while providing operational and administrative support to ensure the program runs efficiently and effectively.
• Ensures compliance tasks are completed accurately, timely, and consistently.
• Supports monitoring, tracking, and follow-up activities and escalating potential issues as appropriate.
• Provides oversight and direction to staff including hiring; communicating expectations; planning, monitoring and evaluating performance; coaching, counseling and developing employees; recommending compensation actions, and coordinating and enforcing systems, policies and procedures.
• Manages day-to-day operational and administrative compliance functions, helping to ensure timely execution of departmental priorities.
• Monitors regulatory updates and assists in interpreting and communicating changes to appropriate stakeholders as directed.
• Coordinates Internal Audit activities by tracking audit plans, findings, and remediation efforts.
• Follows up with responsible parties to support timely resolution and keep management informed of status.
• Maintains and administers the centralized repository for Board and Management policies, including coordinating reviews, updates, approvals, distribution, and tracking acknowledgments.
• Supports compliance risk assessment activities through data gathering, documentation, and tracking of mitigation efforts.
• Escalates potential risks or control gaps to management as appropriate.
• Supports oversight of day-to-day vendor management activities.
• Assists in the preparation and coordination of materials for management committees and Board meetings, including compiling meeting packets, maintaining minutes, and tracking follow-up on action items.
• Performs routine compliance reporting, metrics tracking, and documentation management; ensure records are accurate, complete, and well-organized.
• Monitors compliance training requirements and assist with the administration of training initiatives.

Compliance Operations Supervisor

Mortgage Loan Processor

• Coordinates and manages the mortgage loan pipeline; collects and analyzes mortgage documentation to ensure information meets investor guidelines prior to submitting to underwriting.
• Trains entry level processors and provides guidance to support staff.
• Oversees the successful management of the loans throughout the pipeline to ensure all loans are dispositioned within 30 days or provided a Notice of Action Taken.
• Reviews residential mortgage loans for compliance of all applicable guidelines and regulatory requirements and ensures integrity of all data and process input.
• Reviews and analyzes the loan application and documentation to ensure the information is complete, accurate and complies with company standards, applicable regulations, standards, and guidelines.
• Submits processed application to underwriting in a timely manner to ensure commitment and rate expiration dates are met.
• Reviews and tracks the receipt of all pertinent documentation such as credit reports, appraisal, title, flood certification, condominium compliance, verification of employment and other related information required for underwriting.
• Reviews underwritten loan files for outstanding conditions; obtain and submit conditions to clear loan for approval.
• Reviews approved loan files to ensure the receipt of title commitment, tax information and homeowners insurance to provide a clear to close.
• Communicates loan status with applicant, Loan Officer and other applicable parties.
• Reviews and monitors all suspended loans daily to ensure compliance.
• Provides weekly reports for Management and clients.
• Conducts pre-closing quality control reviews on random and targeted new loan selections prior to closing.
• Collects and uploads HMDA information into the HMDA software; reviews for accuracy and distributes to clients.
• Provides guidance and training to entry level processors and support staff.
• Is responsible for adhering to operational controls, including compliance with all required regulations and policies such as the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) to ensure the safety and soundness of the State Financial Network.
