About the role

  • Maintain account presence by providing a high value-added working relationship with senior customer personnel
  • Identify short- and long-term sales opportunities (up to and beyond a semiannual cycle)
  • Negotiate global contracts and align customer requirements with Dell Technologies capabilities
  • Gain share of wallet across Dell Technologies WSG portfolio (PCs, workstations, mobility solutions, security, VDI, managed services)
  • Maintain and create superior relationships with senior executives and influential stakeholders to sustain long-term relationships
  • Manage virtual internal teams during global RFPs
  • Act as coach/mentor and provide customer/industry/market insight to internal leaders and cross-functional groups
  • Provide insight and thought leadership to senior/CXO leadership to position solutions impacting the customer’s business
  • Lead company-to-company relationships to develop competitive advantage
  • Drive digital transformation and enhance workforce productivity through end-user computing and workplace management solutions

Requirements

  • Greenfield acquisition strength; ability and willingness to open new customers for Dell and build first relationships
  • Strong track record of selling consultancy services or complex, managed projects
  • Experience building complex customer relationships and managing senior-level stakeholders
  • Very strong negotiation skills and financial strength
  • Highly proficient in creating and closing new sales acquisitions
  • Recognized internally and externally as a thought leader on Dell Technologies vision, mission, and portfolio
  • Ability to relay customer feedback to assist with product/service development
  • Ability to sponsor and institutionalize new and innovative ways of working in teams
  • Expert-level professional knowledge; complete understanding of Dell Technologies product and services portfolio
  • International travel availability
  • Very high English level
