About the role
- Own the full sales process within assigned Florida territory from prospecting to close.
- Ramp quickly through sales onboarding and close initial deals within first weeks.
- Source and close new business with regional Enterprise customers (up to 10,000 employees or up to 250,000 residents in a city).
- Meet and exceed quarterly sales targets, generating substantial ARR.
- Build and execute an outbound motion, identify priority accounts, and develop repeatable engagement processes.
- Book and lead discovery calls with technical and business stakeholders and deliver tailored live or virtual product demos.
- Collaborate with Sales Engineering on scoping complex deployments and maintain strong Salesforce hygiene and forecasting accuracy above 90%.
- Onboard, enable, and leverage channel partners alongside the Channel team to help win new customers.
- Partner with Marketing, Product, Deployment Operations, and Customer Success to refine ICP, influence product direction, and ensure smooth handoffs for long-term customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience selling complex technical products to IT buyers at high-growth organizations, both direct and through the channel, ideally in networking infrastructure.
- In absence of networking experience, sold hardware, infrastructure, cloud, or security, or are smart, ambitious and a fast learner who can make sense of an esoteric space with ease.
- Impressive track record of meeting and exceeding ambitious sales targets, consistently ranking among top reps or earning President’s Club-level performance.
- Consistent generator of pipeline; able to book meetings and fill pipeline with qualified opportunities.
- Comfortable with outbound prospecting, cold calling, and leveraging a tech stack (LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Outreach, Gong, etc.).
- Willingness to do whatever it takes to win and get creative to close deals.
- Ability to create clarity out of ambiguity in an early-stage company.
- Must be based in Florida, ideally in a major metro area like Miami, Orlando, or Jacksonville, and live close to a major airport.
