About the role

  • This position is responsible for all aspects of investment account servicing and problem solving for high net worth clients and intermediaries. There is heavy client service and custodian interaction with a very high-volume of email and telephone communication. Individual must be able to work both independently with excellent time management skills as well as collaborate and effectively interact as a team member. This is a high-pressured, deadline-oriented position that requires a high level of diplomacy and integrity. Submitting and following up on all client requested money movement ensuring accurate processing, troubleshooting and resolving any discrepancies Reviewing and delegating tasks to traders, account operations team, and portfolio accounting vendors Auditing accounts for unusual or unanticipated withdrawals alerting client services to account activity Facilitating new account funding by initiating ACAT and non ACAT transfers, troubleshooting and resolving any issues while working with both Mercer Advisors chosen custodians and outside contra firms Resolving deposit issues, collaborating with custodians and client services Partnering with the accounting department to process management fees; raising cash, reconciling and resolving any management fee rejects Working closely with the Compliance Department by implementing compliance standards Supporting client services by managing client documentation and mailings to Mercer Advisors chosen custodians Facilitate positive relationships with business partners as point of contact for custodians representing Mercer Advisors on a day-to-day basis and at industry conferences and workshops Performs other duties assigned as needed

Requirements

  • High school diploma required Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution strongly preferred (preferably Business, Economics, Accounting or Finance related) Prior experience in financial services preferred Excellent communications skills with a strong ability to prioritize, multi-task and troubleshoot
