About the role

Lead Manufacturing Automation within Enterprise Operations
Develop technology strategy and roadmap for automation solutions across Medtronic Manufacturing
Work closely with cross-functional teams to implement automation solutions
Design and implement automation solutions and system software to create scalable operations
Oversee investigation and evaluation of existing technologies and conceptualize new methodologies
Coordinate activities with outside suppliers and consultants
Select, develop and evaluate personnel to ensure efficient operation
Conduct studies to determine efficient sequence of operations and workflow
Facilitate solutions to complex problems requiring ingenuity and innovation
Define project scope, budgets, technical and business requirements
Develop and implement project plans, coordinate subcontractors and facility personnel
Prepare and report regular project updates to Senior Level Management

Bachelor’s Degree and 10+ years of Manufacturing Automation/Leadership experience with 7+ years of managerial experience OR advanced degree and 8+ years of Manufacturing Automation/Leadership experience and 7+ years of managerial experience
Ability to travel up to 30%
DMAIC Lean / Six Sigma Certification (Nice to have)
Demonstrated use of Lean Manufacturing principles
Experience leading large-scale change management (Nice to have)
Demonstrated business acumen with P&L understanding (Nice to have)
