About the role
- Promote Acute Care Monitoring capital and consumable portfolio addressing respiratory surgical complications to the Operating Room and hospital C-Suite
- Drive capital and consumable product portfolio sales in assigned territory (Central and Southern New Jersey and Delaware)
- Accurately forecast business and provide forecasts to Regional Business Manager
- Own customer relationships and target customer product needs
- Identify, qualify, prepare, and execute sales strategies to maintain and grow business
- Probe, develop, and close product sales inquiries/leads with existing customers
- Coordinate and collaborate with regionally aligned field sales team to drive incremental revenue and achieve sales goals
- Develop, negotiate, close, and manage profitable agreements
- Utilize and update sales tools to manage territory and strategic business plans
- Deliver strategic messaging in trade shows, presentations, and board meetings
- Provide product feature/benefit consultation, value messaging, and clinical support
- Lead coordination and support of clinical evaluations and pre-sales support
- Conduct post-sales activities including implementation, product education, in-servicing, and ongoing support
- Maintain and build customer relationships to support customer initiatives
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of related products, applications, and value-added offerings
- Utilize Specialist and Clinical resources efficiently to optimize sales process
- Inform Regional Business Manager and local team of new account opportunities
- Complete assigned projects and administrative duties in a timely manner
- Consistently maintain Vendor Credentialing requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum of 3 years of field sales experience
- Nice to have: 5 years of sales experience including medical device or medical capital
- Documented sales success (achievement to quota) in medical capital equipment and/or consumables
- Experience selling to the acute care hospital operating room environment
- Able to quickly compile contracts with supporting financial business case
- Proven ability to succeed in complex sales and clinical environments
- Strong computer expertise and business application
- Thorough understanding of the sales process
- Understanding of the medical sales arena
- Strong verbal and written communication; exceptional client interaction skills
- Movement of demo capital equipment (physical requirement)
- Must reside within the territory (Central and Southern New Jersey and Delaware; candidates can live anywhere in the territory including Philadelphia)
- Valid driver\'s license
- Maintain all Vendor Credentialing requirements
- For sales reps and other patient facing field employees: comply with credentialing requirements at hospitals or clinics they support
