Contributor to the Surgical Robotics Testing Services team performing verification and reliability testing on surgical instruments.
Support test method development, data collection and analysis, and troubleshooting failure modes.
Design, develop, and implement testing methods and equipment.
Plan and arrange labor, schedules, and equipment required for testing and evaluating standard and special devices.
Provide test area with parameters for sample testing and specify tests to be performed.
Compile data and define changes required in testing equipment, testing procedures, manufacturing processes, or new testing requirements.
Test all customer samples and perform special tests not possible in the test area.
Work on reliability testing of the Hugo surgical robotic system.
Communicate test related activities, results, and issues with multi-disciplinary team members.
Perform mechanical and electrical testing to evaluate new and existing products.
Requirements
1 to 3 years of experience.
B.E or B-Tech in Mechatronics/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
Demonstrated experience with product testing, test equipment, analysis methodologies and test documentation.
Understanding of engineering fundamentals and proven hands-on mechanical skills.
Ability to perform as a contributing member of cross functional teams, including quality, electronic, and mechanical engineers.
Strong communication skills (oral and written) including listening; ability to maintain clear project status and interlocks with internal project teams and external test agencies.
Proficient in Microsoft office programs including Excel and Word.
