About the role
- Architect and implement CLM solutions across pricing and contracting systems
- Design and integrate contract lifecycle and performance management solutions within the Pricing & Contracting ecosystem
- Partner with stakeholders across the business and IT to ensure seamless end-to-end integration, automation and compliance
- Align work with the Chief Architect to drive consistency across the global architecture
- Lead discovery sessions, gather requirements and ensure thorough documentation
- Promote, guide and govern good architectural practice and provide architecture mentorship
- Support full lifecycle management of IT portfolio including selection, enhancement and replacement of applications and services
- Ensure all solutions comply with regulatory and data privacy standards
- Provide subject matter expertise on pricing-related solutions and best practices
- Analyze complex challenges and deliver clear, actionable solutions
- Identify process improvement opportunities and deliver more efficient ways of working
- Participate in agile meetings and collaborate cross-functionally
- Build expertise in Medtronic’s products, customers, and markets to deliver relevant solutions
- Evaluate CLM processes and champion IT solutions that add value for customers and patients
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- 10+ years of experience with a bachelor’s degree or 8+ years of experience with an advanced degree
- Strong understanding of system design and development lifecycles
- Experience implementing technologies that span automation, Pricing, Quoting and Contracting
- Experience in implementing public sector, large enterprise deals and pricing framework to IT enterprise solution
- Solid background in Quote-To-Cash business analysis including use cases, swim lanes, story cards, and value streams
- Understanding of Excel and how to extract/analyze data
- Experience working in agile methodology
- Experience defining new processes and improving existing processes
- Demonstrated ability to solicit clear requirements and translate those requirements into technical specifications
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical topics to business management and users
- Self-motivated problem solver and ability to navigate ambiguity
- Ability to develop effective relationships with business users, technical staff, and executive management
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities fluidly
- Adept at reading technical codes, sequence diagrams, and pseudo-code when necessary
- Exposure to Quote-To-Cash software and IT SDLC lifecycle
- Preferred technical development skillset in SAP ABAP, Vistex, APEX/Lightning, ASP .Net, AI/LLM
- Familiarity with Conga CLM, Salesforce, iCertis, Palantir Foundry, S4 Hana
- Demonstrated experience in at least 2 large Quote-To-Cash implementation cycles
- Willingness/ability to travel approximately 5%
- Work onsite approximately 4 days per week at Medtronic facility in Minnesota
