About the role

  • Drive patient referrals and therapy awareness in targeted geographies (Territory & Account Development)
  • Develop deep relationships with high-prescribing hypertension physicians and community stakeholders
  • Support territory activation by opening new accounts in partnership with existing sales teams
  • Promote and educate of the Symplicity therapy, acting as a therapy specialist and resource (Sales Execution)
  • Execute focused outreach strategies in “hot” markets with high patient potential
  • Collaborate with senior territory managers to ensure consistent messaging and alignment across the territory
  • Serve as a consistent touchpoint for physicians and staff, building trust and credibility (Customer Engagement)
  • Educate and equip providers with therapy benefits and pathways that improve patient outcomes
  • Support contract signing and onboarding processes for new accounts
  • Participate in comprehensive training programs to build clinical and sales competencies (Training & Development)
  • Maintain accurate records of account activity, outreach efforts, and territory performance
  • Adhere to all company policies, regulatory guidelines, and ethical standards (Compliance & Reporting)

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum of 3 years of business-to-business (B2B) sales experience
  • OR Minimum of 3 years Medtronic Clinical Specialist experience
  • Proven success in pharmaceuticals or high growth direct to consumer sales (desired)
  • Experience in direct-to-consumer or community-based sales models (desired)
  • Background in launching new therapies or products (desired)
  • Familiarity with cardiovascular or hypertension markets (desired)
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills (desired)
  • Ability to work independently and flexibly in ambiguous environments (desired)
  • Graduate of Medtronic PRIME program (desired)
  • Must reside within the territory and drive to multiple accounts throughout the region
  • Valid driver's license and insurance
  • Frequent travel within assigned territory
  • Ability to lift/carry up to 20 pounds
  • Sit/stand/walk for 6–8 hours per day
  • Operate a moving vehicle
  • For sales reps and other patient facing field employees, comply with all credentialing requirements at the hospitals or clinics they support
  • Adhere to all company policies, regulatory guidelines, and ethical standards
