About the role
- Lead the development and execution of global marketing strategies for Medtronic’s Structural Heart TAVR portfolio
- Drive growth, market adoption, and innovation for TAVR solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, regional stakeholders, and external partners to deliver impactful strategies
- Lead global product management, pricing, inventory management strategy and portfolio efforts
- Report to the leader of the Structural Heart Downstream Marketing, Field Training & Development team
- Manage and develop a team (responsibility for four team members) with significant time spent on strategic planning and execution coaching
- Balance strategy and execution while supporting commercial team operations globally with particular focus on the US
- Partner with local, regional and international field leadership to support product management strategy and execution at global and regional levels
- Drive collaboration of regional stakeholders to identify product, portfolio and pricing needs and define strategies accordingly
- Represent downstream in critical OU meetings, including PMR, GDR, S&OE and more
- Serve as a strategic partner to US commercial team to ensure wholistic product needs are being met
- Foster cross-departmental collaboration that promotes a culture of learning, effectiveness, efficiency and continuous improvement
- Travel as required (up to 30%)
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or an advanced degree
- Successful, 10 years combined experience in two or more of the following functions: medical device sales or marketing, clinical experience (nursing etc.), training delivery, or other relevant areas
- Excellent spoken and written English is required
- Prepared to travel up to 30% of their time
- Work onsite a minimum of 4 days a week
- Experience managing or leading a small team (role has responsibility for four team members)
- Excellent influencing, interpersonal, communication, presentation and facilitation skills
- Demonstrated leadership skills and a genuine enthusiasm for training and development and a commitment to teamwork
- Experience with project management/project leadership
- Excellent planning and organizational skills with demonstrated ability to manage multiple, complex projects concurrently
- Experience in multicultural organizations, particularly different learning and thinking styles
- Proven track record of ability to navigate and collaborate within a global matrix organization
- Launch experience with complex technologies and experience in strategy development or support is an advantage
- Knowledgeable insights on competitive cardiovascular catheterization, valve replacement and interventional cardiology would be an advantage
- Knowledge or experience in the operating room or catheter lab would be an advantage
