About the role
- Support Financial Planning and Analysis for Medtronic's Global Commercial Office (GCO)
- Report directly to the GCO Finance Director of FP&A
- Support development of the annual operating plan (AOP) and strategic plan for the GCO
- Develop financial insights for senior leadership and support performance reporting
- Data analytics and reporting from One Stream, SAP, Tableau and Power BI on a weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis
- Support weekly revenue reporting for the GCO function
- Assist in quarterly, annual and strategic plan financial forecasts and cost roll-up across GCO functions
- Partner with Finance COE and GCO Finance team on FP&A deliverables, revenue and headcount reporting, and expense management
- Perform variance analysis on a weekly, monthly and annual basis
- Ad hoc data gathering, analysis and report out to stakeholders as needed
- Operate onsite (minimum 4 days per week) to foster cross-functional collaboration
Requirements
- Bachelors degree and minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience.
- Experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) supporting Global Commercial Office (GCO)
- Data analytics and reporting experience using One Stream, SAP, Tableau and Power BI
- Experience supporting weekly revenue reporting, quarterly/annual/strategic financial forecasts and cost roll-ups
- Experience partnering with Finance COE and GCO Finance team on FP&A deliverables, revenue reporting, headcount reporting and expense management
- Ability to perform variance analysis on a weekly, monthly and annual basis
- Ad hoc data gathering, analysis and report out to stakeholders as needed
- Ability to work onsite a minimum of 4 days per week
- Regularly required to be independently mobile, interact with a computer, and communicate with peers and co-workers
