About the role
- Maximize profit by achieving sales revenue targets and grow market share for a specified territory
- Promote, sell and service Medtronic Coronary Renal Denervation (CRDN) and/or Peripheral vascular products
- Practice good, ethical territory management
- Increase sales and revenue by targeting and developing new accounts
- Train appropriate medical staff on products and procedures
- Meet expectations as defined by Sales Management
- Travel within region up to 50% of the time and may include overnight visits
- Develop, implement and deliver on plans to achieve/exceed sales targets
- Develop and maintain accurate account and territory records
- Effectively manage time to ensure maximum coverage of all accounts within territory
- Identify growth opportunities within accounts
- Collaborate with other departments to manage inventory and expenses
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with key decision makers
Requirements
- High School Diploma (or equivalent) AND 12+ years experience
- OR Associate’s Degree AND 10+ years experience
- OR Bachelor’s Degree AND 8+ years experience
- Relevant sales, clinical, or related experience in medical devices, medtech, healthcare, or life sciences
- Preference toward local candidates with cath lab sales experience
- Preferred sales experience in capital equipment sales, surgical sales, and in-hospital pharmaceutical
- Completion of a strong sales training program
- Demonstrated high level of sales performance in a highly technical, competitive, and volatile environment
- Demonstrated skills in account, inventory, expense, and budget management
- Demonstrated skills in sales planning, organization and execution
- Ability to teach and educate medical personnel, peers, and technical support personnel
- Demonstrated success working in a collaborative environment
