About the role

  • Drive surgeon demand across the full Surgical COT portfolio including Stapling, Energy, Suture, Electrosurgery, Situate, and Access & Instrumentation
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans and identify practice trends to drive market growth and adoption
  • Cultivate and maintain key customer relationships with clinical and administrative stakeholders
  • Work closely with clinical and administrative stakeholders to expand business opportunities and execute business reviews
  • Serve as the main point of contact across MDT account teams including District Managers, Sales Area Directors, Sales Operations Specialists, and GYN and Hernia teams
  • Lead creation and execution of account-level contractual strategies and optimize contracts to drive category expansion across Surgical
  • Own and execute quarterly Customer Business Reviews to evaluate performance and identify growth opportunities
  • Drive adoption and utilization of Surgical Center of Technology (COT) products
  • Cultivate and strengthen relationships with field distribution partners and maximize partnership programs
  • Contribute to regional and national conversion efforts and execute on territory objectives
  • Achieve/exceed disposable quota (strategic & core) and hardware quota; expand contract categories; improve opportunity management and forecasting accuracy

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum of 2 years of sales experience
  • Field-based role that requires 50% travel within the territory
  • Must reside within the territory and drive to multiple accounts throughout the region
  • Valid driver's license is essential for this role
  • Proven track record in sales within the medical device or healthcare industry (nice to have)
  • Strong understanding of clinical environments and ability to communicate complex product information
  • Experience building and managing key customer relationships with decision-makers in clinical and administrative roles
  • Ability to analyze business trends and use insights to develop actionable strategies
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
  • Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., SF.com) and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to comply with hospital/clinic credentialing requirements for patient-facing field employees
  • Regularly required to be independently mobile and interact with a computer and communicate via telephone, email, instant message and in-person
