About the role
- Support development and execution of long-range marketing objectives and strategic plans for the Pelvic Health (PH) therapy portfolio
- Report to the Pelvic Health Global Strategy, Growth, and Portfolio Development Marketing Manager and collaborate with upstream marketers and global cross-functional partners
- Prepare presentations and supporting materials to align Medtronic executive leaders with the PH OU pipeline strategy and support core team phase reviews
- Facilitate the annual PH strategic planning process and coordinate business reviews focused on advancing revenue growth pipeline and long-term strategy
- Build expertise in current and adjacent disease states relevant to male and female pelvic health and related therapies
- Monitor direct and indirect competitive landscape, clinical evidence, technological advancements and market dynamics
- Generate opportunity assessments for business development and evaluate strategic targets through quantitative and qualitative market modeling
- Deliver clear and succinct financial analyses to support recommendations for strategic and operational plans
- Identify areas for operational excellence and process improvement within PH marketing to drive efficiency and consistency
- Conduct Voice of Customer (VOC) and Voice of Business (VOB) research and summarize key customer needs via advisory boards, conferences, one-on-one engagements and third-party research
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers, key opinion leaders, and internal sales personnel to inform PH strategy and program requirements
- Highly visible role interacting with PH OU senior leadership and global physician thought leaders
- Ability to travel up to 10% of time
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- Must have 2 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with 0 years of experience
- Strong analytical and quantitative capabilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Power BI and other quant-based systems (preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, Health Care Management, Finance or a related field (preferred)
- Master’s in Business Administration or Master’s in Health Administration is a plus
- Experience in consulting, medical device or healthcare adjacent industry (preferred)
- Leadership or project management experience and ability to work with cross-functional teams
- Strategy and business development experience including portfolio and product planning
- Experience interfacing with health care providers both individually and in working group settings
- Ability to influence others (leaders, cross-functional team leaders and individual contributors)
- Ability to travel up to 10% of time
