Promotes and sells Medtronic's products and services within an assigned geographic area and/or specific customer accounts to meet or exceed sales targets
Develops, builds, and strengthens long-term relationships with stakeholders including distributors and healthcare professionals
Pursues leads, assesses needs and provides product services to maximize the benefits derived from Medtronic's products and/or services
Promotes and establishes education of the company's products and/or services
Conducts market research including customers and competitors activities and implements market development plans/strategies and changes as needed
Communicates customer feedback on new products and/or modifications to existing products or applications to internal stakeholders including R&D, Operations and Marketing
Works independently managing multiple small to mid-size accounts; may direct the work of lower level sales professionals or manage sales processes/accounts involving multiple team members
Works with sales, marketing and finance to structure complex contracts and influence pricing structures
Requirements
A Bachelor’s degree (Bsc/B pharma/BCA/B tech)
Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in the healthcare field
Practical knowledge gained through experience of sales techniques and job area
Developing professional expertise; applies company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues
Experience building and strengthening long-term relationships with stakeholders including distributors and healthcare professionals
Ability to pursue leads, assess needs and provide product services to maximize benefits from products/services
Ability to promote and establish education of the company's products and/or services
Conduct market research including customers and competitors activities and implement market development plans/strategies
For sales reps and other patient facing field employees: ability to go into healthcare settings and comply with all credentialing requirements at the hospitals or clinics they support
May need to comply with employer verification programs (employer participates in the federal E-Verify program)
