Responsible for all aspects of equipment support performed at customer sites or prior to delivery, ensuring compliance with company policies and SOPs
Pre-delivery inspection, installation, commissioning, planned maintenance, troubleshooting, assessment, breakdown repair, and in-service to customers on basic device maintenance
Main contact point with the local customers and may provide quotations and negotiate discounts within approved DOA
Effectively manage customer expectation and compliance with customers' SLAs and safety
Able to support last minute call to attend the customer onsite calls at non-working hours
Supports minor projects, performing tests, interpreting data, and developing reports
Performs technical activities requiring considerable judgment and proposes solutions for supervisor review
Provides guidance to lower level employees and 3rd party service provider engineers
Unsupservised interaction with customers involving simple negotiations; acts as escalation point for field issues
Advises internal and external customers on available service options and makes recommendations
Monitors own certification status and coordinates test tool and spare part availability in the field
Communicates with biomedical engineers, the in-country commercial organization, and customers
Leads by example in good documentation practice and ensures all documentation/system entries are complete in a timely manner
Assists commercial and junior team members during product demonstrations and communicates product lifecycle management, upgrades, and new product introductions
Requirements
A Bachelor’s Degree is required fort his role
Working knowledge of ISO13485 / GDPMD
Knowledgeable in ESD precautions and practice
Working experience in ICU / Operating Theatre / relevant hospital / healthcare environment
Experience with service sales and promotion
Opex – Lean / Six Sigma certification
Experience with SAP / Service Max
Formal training in: Negotiating skills; Key accounts management; Consultative selling skills or equivalent
Comply with hospital/clinic credentialing requirements for patient facing field employees
