About the role
- Support the Quality Department coordinating suppliers and verifying quality standards per company requirements
- Develop, implement and monitor standards and/or best practices between plants
- Perform regular supplier audits and assessments to ensure compliance with company standards
- Identify quality problems with suppliers and implement corrective actions
- Monitor corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
- Review supplier manufacturing processes and collaborate with suppliers on process improvement
- Analyze conformity of mechanical components using measuring instruments
- Review supplier quality performance
- Support local quality teams of international plants (e.g., Ireland, Bulgaria, Germany)
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
- At least 3 years of professional experience in a similar or related position (Quality control)
- Knowledge of ISO 19011
- Knowledge in analyzing mechanical drawings
- Experience in using measuring instruments, especially 3D (CMM) considered a plus
- Fluent knowledge of Italian and English
- Knowledge of PDCA approach
- Preferred knowledge of PPAP, SPC, Gage R&R
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to work autonomously
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Availability to travel abroad
