About the role
- Oversee and optimize supply chain processes to ensure efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and alignment with organizational goals
- Identify potential disruptions and implement strategies to improve supply chain performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including procurement, logistics, and operations to ensure seamless product flow from suppliers to customers
- Mentor junior planners and contribute to strategic planning initiatives
- Analyze, develop, and implement long-term supply chain strategies and networks addressing capacity and production location decisions
- Support business execution of new programs and initiatives including promotional activities, forecast coordination for key events, new product launches, and network redesigns
- Monitor key sales and operations planning performance indicators and cost-to-serve performance data
- Coordinate cross-functional work teams to increase effectiveness of supply chain initiatives
- Manage purchases from external suppliers (as applicable)
Requirements
- Requires a Bachelor Degree and a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
- OR advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
- Masters degree in Supply Chain related field (Preferred)
- Strong, demonstrated critical capabilities (Influence, Compelling communication, Analytical, Business Acumen, Lean thinking)
- Stakeholder management
- Experience managing purchases from external suppliers
- Experience with sales and operations planning (S&OP), forecasting, and network redesigns (implied)
- Ability to analyze, develop, and implement long-term supply chain strategies
- Physical requirements: independently mobile, interact with a computer, communicate with peers and co-workers
- Must be able to work onsite a minimum of 4 days a week
