About the role
- Ensures consistent standards across pharmacy networks and software systems by developing and executing thorough test plans, documenting results, and collaborating closely with stakeholders.
- Performing inspections and tests at various stages of plan design and pharmacy networks to identify defects or issues.
- Creating and implementing quality assurance policies and procedures.
- Identifying workflow or production issues and proposing solutions.
- Recording processes and documentation to support PLAD and Business Architecture.
- Educating team members on quality standards and inspection processes.
- Developing comprehensive software test plans outlining strategies, objectives, and resources.
- Designing and executing manual and automated tests to identify bugs and ensure software functionality.
- Documenting and reporting software defects, collaborating with software provider to resolve issues.
- Verifying that new code changes do not negatively impact existing functionality.
- Monitoring and tracking quality assurance metrics, such as defect densities and open defect counts.
- Working closely with software, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure software meets user needs.
Requirements
- An associate’s degree in a relevant field
- 1–3 years of experience in a Pharmacy Benefits Management (PBM) environment, with preferred experience in claims processing systems, plan design system implementation, or pharmacy network system management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Attention to detail and a methodical approach to tasks
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Dependable and punctual
- Understanding of industry-specific regulations and standards is highly preferred.
