About the role
- Lead and develop a team of HR Generalists and Sr. HR Generalists by providing direction for all employee relations and performance management activities and initiatives.
- Partner with HR Operations leadership on training and guidance for company talent rhythm and performance management activities such as goal setting and the annual review process.
- Partner with leaders across the organization on performance management activities including Improvement Action Plans of large size and complexity and as a point of escalation for other members of the team.
- Act as a consultant to leaders on employee relations situations, day-to-day coaching, team structure, compensation, and policy interpretation.
- Partner with Clinical team and other Employee Relations team members to advise on escalated investigations related to traveler concerns, complaints, and terminations.
- Facilitate Stay Interviews as needed and partner with HR Operations team to share feedback with leaders.
- Partner with HR Operations team on employee exits including exit surveys and interviews, company communication, and partnership with IT and Facilities on equipment, systems, and access.
- Partner with HR Operations team on retention reporting and communication of exit themes to leaders within business unit.
- Partner with leaders across the organization to review and analyze feedback and create action plans based on Manager Effectiveness and Engagement surveys.
- Assist with updating job descriptions as needed.
- Facilitate employee changes such as transfers and promotions as needed.
- Assist with other HR programs, policies, and processes as necessary.
- Oversee immigration and visa sponsorship processes.
- Maintain and apply knowledge of relevant employment laws and best practices.
Requirements
- 6+ years in Human Resources role
- 2+ years of experience directly supporting senior leaders within multiple business units
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Communication, or Business or equivalent work experience
- Experience directly leading and managing a team strongly desired
- Experience with employee relations or coaching conversations
- Experience conducting investigations
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and ability to communicate at all levels of the organization
- Strong ability to maintain confidentiality
- Proficiency with using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to develop strong relationships and credibility throughout the business
- Ability to maintain flexibility and balance a variety of interactive and administrative tasks
