About the role
- Accurate and timely processing of supplier invoices and expense claims across ERPs
- Perform GL coding, reconciliations and month-end AP activities
- Match PO/goods receipts/invoices and resolve discrepancies
- Ensure purchase orders, invoices and payments adhere to control frameworks and approval protocols
- Track supplier and T&E queries, escalate and drive resolution with procurement, HR, finance, operations
- Ensure invoices are tax compliant at group and business unit level
- Provide vendor and internal stakeholder support for invoice and expense queries
- Process company travel and expenses and administer corporate card requests and issuances
- Reconcile vendor statements to ERP records and follow up on discrepancies
- Prepare vendor master data creation/change requests with validation of VAT/tax numbers, bank details, addresses
- Perform reviews and audits on employee expense claims to ensure compliance with approvals and travel policy
Requirements
- 2-5 years’ experience in Accounts Payable
- Previously worked in a shared services environment
- Batchelor of Commerce degree or related
- Knowledge of financial accounting, process, and systems
- Good working knowledge and experience of ERPs
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to set clear priorities and objectives
- Relevant AP experience of at least 2 years within a shared services environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail and accurate fact-based interpretation
