Demonstrates leadership and commitment by engaging, directing and supporting persons to contribute to the effectiveness of the EHR to support an optimal patient experience
Recruits, selects, develops, retains and motivates staff to ensure a highly credentialed and competent team
Organizes and leads regular staff meetings
Ensures timely completion of performance evaluations, required CBTs, and competencies for direct reports
Adheres to PEP process and policy for direct reports when needed
Utilizes data to identify opportunities and drive process improvement in quality management
Advocates and promotes the usage of the patient portal and self-service tools
Prepares work schedules for Registration areas and manages time approvals in payroll system
Responsible for meeting performance goals for departments
Develops expense and salary operating budgets and monitors budget compliance
Demonstrates working knowledge of access management, hospital and professional billing, patient account management, financial assistance, cash management, health insurance practices, regulatory requirements, and revenue resolution management practices
Reviews Financial Assistance applications for approval/denial in a timely manner
Resolves patient concerns and complaints and maintains cooperative relationships with hospital personnel and physicians
Maintains knowledge of current trends and presents suggestions for operations
Work Schedule: 80 Hours bi-weekly
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Healthcare environment
Healthcare information systems experience preferred
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office(Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, Power Point)
Written and oral communication skills with persons of all ages and diverse backgrounds
Excellent customer service skills
Bachelors Degree
