About the role
- Develop marketing operations strategy and roadmap, plans for new tech/AI innovation and improved customer experiences and journeys
- Oversee marketing tech stack (marketing automation platform), optimize workflows, manage budget and ensure data integrity for campaign execution
- Partner closely with Salesforce team to develop scalable architecture for omni-channel experiences and lifecycle marketing
- Lead the development, implementation, execution and enhancements of existing and new patient experiences in Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud
- Lead team responsible for testing, reporting and outcomes; analyze campaign performance and provide strategic, actionable insights and recommendations to leadership
- Manage segmentation strategy, personalization planning, and implementation of attribution models
- Lead oversight of lifecycle and campaign strategy, ensure content resonance, monitor outcomes, and drive optimization of performance
- Collaborate with product, sales, engineering and analytics teams to ensure marketing efforts support business goals, such as product revenue growth, demand generation, member engagement and customer retention
- Work with legal, compliance and privacy to ensure requirements are met
- Manage marketing operations team, mentor for career development, foster a customer-first culture, and manage change within a dynamic environment
- Ensure all activities comply with industry regulations and data privacy laws (e.g. HIPAA)
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or engineering, or equivalent
- Typically requires 12+ years of relative experience, including 4+ years of management experience
- 7+ Years of experience in Marketing Automation and/or Operations roles, preferably in healthcare and/or SaaS industries
- Strong B2C and B2B marketing background, data storytelling, and technical expertise (Marketing Automation Platforms, CRM)
- Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience required, and Data Cloud experience strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of AMPscript, SQL and HTML/CSS/Responsive Design
- Deep knowledge of Marketing Cloud data structure, APIs, Data Extensions, Marketing Cloud SFTP and functionality such as Journey Builder, Email Studio, and Marketing Cloud Connector App within Salesforce
- Familiarity with Salesforce CRM, Sales, Service and/or Experience Clouds
- Knowledge of product development lifecycle and tools, such as JIRA
- Experience working in healthcare or another regulated industry with knowledge of HIPAA, PHI/PII data privacy and compliance requirements
- Leadership and stakeholder management, and ability to work in ambiguity
- Experience in building scalable systems and driving automation for growth
