About the role
- Position Overview: The SAP Ariba Administrator will be responsible for the day-to-day administration and support of our SAP Ariba platform. This role works closely with both SAP and our McKesson Technology SAP support team to ensure system reliability, manage user access, oversee procurement data, and support Ariba-related projects and enhancements.
- Key Responsibilities Serve as primary point of contact to resolve all SAP Ariba Tier 2 system-related issues Serve as the liaison with SAP/Ariba support for ticket escalation and resolution. Manage user roles, permissions, and access requests according to compliance policies. Support supplier onboarding in SAP Ariba Monitor system performance and communicate any maintenance activities or system downtimes. Test and deploy new Ariba modules, features, or patches. Complete UAT as required by MT. Assess policy change impact on systems. Oversee procurement workflows with a view to enhance efficiency, reduce cycle times, and eliminate bottlenecks. Ensure workflows reflect any changes in procurement strategies or organizational structures. Maintain documentation for system configuration, workflows, and process changes. Identify opportunities where technology can reduce procurement costs and work with MT and S&P business owners to determine prioritization Maintain audit trails, comply with regulatory requirements, and provide information required by SOX and Internal Audit Team for SAP Ariba general controls Manage Ariba Buyer Funded program Support training material development and delivery training as needed for S&P team and their stakeholders. Provide backup coverage for the SAP Fieldglass Administrator as needed.
Requirements
- Typically requires 4+ years of relevant experience
- Critical Skills
- 3+ years of experience administering SAP Ariba solutions.
- Strong understanding of procurement processes and Ariba modules (Sourcing, Contracts, P2P).
- Experience with compliance, access management, and audit protocols.
- Familiarity with SAP Fieldglass or willingness to be cross-trained is required.
