The Sr. Manager, Business Operations will be the strategic command center for our company's operational ecosystem. This role focuses on the overarching health and efficiency of internal systems, processes, and data, acting as the architect of our company's infrastructure to ensure all departments are connected by well-designed processes and reliable data.
Key Responsibilities:
System Governance: Own core cross-functional systems (e.g., CRM, ERP, Billing Engine, and other cross-functional business platforms). Manage vendor relationships. Responsible for the integrity and long-term roadmap of these systems.
Business Intelligence (BI): Serve as the gatekeeper of the company's data. Build and maintain foundational data models. Enable functional leaders to self-serve in creating their own reports, dashboards, and integrations.
Process Harmonization & Documentation: Eliminate duplicated efforts and misaligned processes across departments. Ensure seamless and efficient workflows between Sales, Marketing, Support, Finance, and other teams. Establish the framework and mechanisms for cross-functional process documentation.
Collaboration with Departmental Operations: Partner with Sales Operations, Marketing Operations, and Revenue FP&A to ensure system alignment, data accuracy, and optimized cross-functional workflows. Collaborate on defining and building departmental-specific dashboards and reports using centralized BI data models. Work with departmental ops teams on change management when new processes or tools are introduced, ensuring proper integration into core systems and intact cross-functional data flows. Ensure clean and accurate data is passed to the centralized BI platform from various departmental systems. “Pinch hit” when needed, providing Sales Ops, Marketing Ops, or FP&A support when extra capacity is needed.
Requirements
5+ years of experience in Business Operations or a similar strategic operational role. Proven experience owning and managing core cross-functional business systems (CRM, ERP, Billing Engine). Strong understanding of business intelligence principles and data modeling. Demonstrated ability to harmonize and document complex cross-functional processes. Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams including Sales, Marketing, Finance, and IT. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Experience in driving process improvements and change management initiatives.
