Define and execute the 2026-2027 strategy focused on financial sustainability and scaling high-impact programs
Strengthen governance and institutional credibility; collaborate with the Board of Directors and provide quarterly strategic updates
Establish a selection committee to streamline hiring and strategic decisions
Design, implement, and scale programs such as the Bogotá Employability Program and La Neta
Implement Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) frameworks to measure outcomes and support data-driven decisions
Build and maintain strategic partnerships with corporations, foundations, community organizations, and international agencies
Lead fundraising efforts, including proposal development, donor acquisition, and management, to double the annual budget (~$125,000)
Represent Plan País at high-level events and in the media to enhance visibility and support
Manage a team of four consultants in Colombia; oversee recruitment, onboarding, and performance management
Ensure compliance with Colombian nonprofit regulations and establish a local legal entity
Oversee operational functions and foster an inclusive, innovative organizational culture aligned with the mission
Requirements
University degree in social sciences, business administration, international relations, political science, economics, law, or related fields
Preferably a postgraduate degree (master’s or equivalent) in nonprofit management, international development, public policy, or related areas
6+ years in program management and/or leadership in nonprofit organizations
Experience developing strategic partnerships and fundraising, ideally with international donors
Track record designing and managing employability, education, or youth leadership programs in Latin America
Prior experience with migrant communities or integration contexts, preferably the Venezuelan diaspora
Demonstrated ability to manage small teams and budgets (~$125,000 annually) with transparency and efficiency
Knowledge of Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) frameworks
Understanding of regulations for nonprofit organizations in Colombia and global best practices
Experience in fundraising, including proposal writing and donor management
Bilingual in Spanish and English (spoken and written) with advanced communication and presentation skills
Proficiency in project management tools (Trello, Asana), Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and data analysis platforms (advanced Excel, Power BI, or similar)
Availability to be based in Bogotá or willing to relocate; availability for regional travel (~10-15%)
