About the role
- Be the driving force behind the unification of our product portfolio and next generation platform
- Partner with Engineering and Design to develop the future of towing software, bringing together disparate workflows into powerful, unified solutions
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify market trends, pricing strategies, and partnership opportunities
- Define and prioritize market enhancements based on customer feedback, market demands, and business goals
- Partner closely with engineering, sales, and business development teams to ensure alignment for portfolio goals, resourcing, and roadmaps
- Drive consensus through consistent communication and active listening among a diverse set of stakeholders
- Ensure products meet the needs and expectations of both service providers and end customers, identifying opportunities for platform expansion and new revenue streams
- Utilize analytics and product management tooling to track, monitor, and analyze overall platform performance, making data-driven decisions for improvements to product and process
- Ensure product management standards and processes are met by your delivery team, utilizing structured meetings and tools such as Jira, Confluence, and GitHub
Requirements
- 5+ years' experience in Product Management with a focus on the automotive industry or field services
- Proven track record of managing complex platform products
- Technical background or competency, especially with platform APIs and data models
- Experience modernizing and unifying complex product portfolios
- Excellent leadership skills and ability to establish expectations across diverse groups
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills
- Highly organized and deliver focused
- Proficiency in product management tools and methodologies
- Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, dynamic environment
