Bookkeeper

• Take ownership of payroll operations while supporting broader People initiatives like benefits, compliance, onboarding, and HRIS administration.
• Oversee all payroll-related functions for 150+ employees, including processing new hires, termination status changes, reporting, compliance, tax changes, wage garnishments, deductions, and direct deposit.
• Assist with HR-related responsibilities including Benefits and open enrollment, workers comp and unemployment claims, compliance reporting, HRIS onboarding, leave administration and other tasks as needed.
• Calculate and process employee salaries, wages, bonuses and commissions accurately and timely.
• Verify and reconcile payroll data to ensure accuracy.
• Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to ensure seamless payroll processes and provide payroll data for management including month-end and accounting reports.
• Stay updated on payroll software and technology trends, and ensure compliance with tax laws and deductions including Social Security and Medicare.
• Manage contractor management platform: onboard contractors, keep data updated, and process monthly invoices for payment.
• Support global payroll platform and onboard international employees.
