Account Manager

• Accountable for developing and managing an account base of customers spanning the Independent On-Trade (IFT).
• Leverage the Master of Malt Trade wholesaler supply platform to widen footprint and grow value contributions across channels.
• Drive distribution, visibility and activation of the Maverick Drinks brand portfolio, including key exclusive Distribution Brands.
• Act as a consultant to the trade, bringing customers on the craft spirits journey.
• Maintain existing account relations while creating new business opportunities and establishing a diverse customer base across the On-Trade and agreed Wholesalers.
• Identify business-building opportunities and understand Net Revenue and Margin contributions per brand to create investment plans that drive incremental growth.
• Collaborate with Brand and Customer Marketing, Route-to-Market colleagues and MoM Trade teams to build support plans and drive ROI.
• Use expertise in spirits and wholesale categories and knowledge of the consumer journey to inform product ranging and grow MoM Trade basket spend.
• Drive rate of sale and leverage core Maverick brand listings to establish distribution of the wider brand portfolio.
• Liaise with external RTM Sales Managers to support existing distribution and secure new distribution with a clear ROS plan.
• Partner with 3rd party brands on activations and brand building within prestige client/partner accounts and specific wholesalers.

Customer Support

• Join Master of Malt's Customer Service team for the festive season to support global customers.
• Advise customers on whisky, gin and other spirits and support product selection.
• Process orders including payment processing, fraud assessment, customs declarations and logistics coordination.
• Liaise with courier and logistics companies to resolve delivery and post-dispatch issues.
• Communicate with customers via email, live chat, social media and telephone; handle recommendations and complaints.
• Manage enquiries from third-party sellers (Amazon, eBay, Notonthehighstreet.com).
• Make consistent decisions on discounts and refunds according to company policy.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure successful customer outcomes.
